Summary of Position:
The Regional Director of Sales, reporting to the Vice President, Brand Management, is responsible for managing distributor and retail accounts and sales activities for GTG’s brands in Pennsylvania and Ohio. In addition to managing sales accounts, the Regional Director of Sales shall also analyze the markets within the territory identifying various ways to maximize current and potential sales. The incumbent will assist the VP, Brand Management in strategic plan and annual budget development process, measuring and reviewing sales and execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-10 years beverage sales experience in a progressive sales environment
- Proficiency with DSD beverage industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in basic mathematics with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Existing relationships with distributors and retail chains is preferred
- High level of energy, independence, initiative and adaptation to work effectively under deadlines
- Ability to think strategically while exercising independent, sound judgment
- High level of organizational skills, prioritizing various tasks
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- 50-65% travel based within PA & OH Regions
